I went to Jazz rehearsal for the first time this summer and I was the only trombone player that showed up. My teacher gave me the 1st trombone parts, when I always play 3rd because I can’t play in the higher register, and he told me to man up. We played 5 different charts and 1 had a solo for me. u___u
